Tanzanian Education Project helping students help themselves

Sponsorship

It opens a radical new world for students who want to move forward in their education

A small monthly amount is all that is required to enable a student to get educated

Sponsoring a student is a wonderful way to

reach out and help needy students

What happens is amazing ……you give a young adult a future.  Their education is the gate they need opened to help them achieve their goals.  They will be forever thankful to you.

Gift Kika

We met Gift Kika in 2005 on our very first trip to Tanzania.  She was working part time unpaid in the church office of a Kanissa Pentecosta church.  She had no future but poverty and we saw in her the potential to learn.  We sponsored Gift to attend further training college in Journalism and two years later she qualified top of her class and got her certificate in Journalism.  She has been working now with a local Catholic television station in Tanga and is now a happy worker and she is so thankful to her sponsors.

Maria Msuyua

We also met Maria Msuya in 2005, on our first trip to Tanzania.  She was working in the pastor’s house helping out again with no pay just lodgings and food, a very common practice in Tanzania.  We sponsored by supplying her with sewing machines and other equipment.  he is now an independent seamstress and runs her own business.  She recently married and is now enjoying her life more than ever.  She also is so thankful that we cared for her and empowered her to be a business woman.
